“Kraków is a story”, a fascinating story of people who have created the city and its traditions for centuries. Our restaurant fits into this history, taking guests for years into the world of cuisine which has developed in Kraków for centuries. This is a unique culinary concept created with passion for wine and culinary art, combining the art of fine dining and wine pairing with the recommendations of the Michelin Guide and Slow Food Polska.

At Albertina, excellent cuisine is an inherent part of our identity. We create unique flavors using excellent quality products, both Polish ones from the nearest neighborhood and those imported from distant corners of the world. Our seasonal tasting menu is a true culinary journey, and the original dishes of chef Grzegorz Fic and his team present the beauty and richness of Polish cuisine in a refreshed form, as well as the versatility of the culinary traditions of southern Europe. Following the principle that excellent cuisine can only be created using excellent ingredients, the invariable basis of each menu is carefully selected, seasonal and local products with the greatest creative potential, as well as constantly available, fresh seafood from its own lobster. We offer not only delicious dishes, but also a complete culinary experience, and the regularly changing tasting and a’la carte menus will certainly satisfy the tastes of even the most demanding taste connoisseurs.

THE ART OF WINE AND FOOD PAIRING - WINE PAIRING AT ALBERTINA

Wine and food – their combination and mutual relationship is extremely important for the overall experience. It is a type of art in which both elements work together and complement each other. At Albertina, we attach particular importance to wine pairing, i.e. carefully selecting wines to complement the dishes on the menu. Each item on the menu is complemented by several wines available by glass. Our wine list is the result of wine research and sommelier creativity. Guests will find there original selections of wines in the “Hidden Gems” version, inviting them to travel through lesser-known but very fascinating wine regions, as well as in the “Great Classic” version, in vintages from the best appellations in the world. The availability of the original collection of 32 wines by the glass is provided by Coravin and the largest installation of Enomatic® wine dispensers in Poland, located in the atmospheric, elegant Albertina winery. The effects of our work and approach to wine pairing are appreciated not only by guests, but also awarded with prestigious distinctions: Wine Spectator and Star Wine List.

LOBSTERS IN KRAKÓW – EXPERIENCE THE TASTE OF TRUE FRESHNESS

We respect our culinary heritage, not forgetting that Krakow has always been an open and modern city, and the nearby Wawel Royal Castle has been home to the best and refined products from the world for centuries. Hence our culinary story features perfectly fresh lobsters, oysters, king crabs and scallops. Thanks to our lobster, we can serve uncompromisingly fresh lobsters and crabs and maintain the highest quality of seafood dishes. At Albertina, every day we serve wild European lobsters considered to be the best in the world, as well as the famous Canadian lobsters, which taste excellent. Moreover, our guests can enjoy freshly caught Fine de Claire Pacific oysters and refined Gillardeau oysters, coming from one of the most renowned French farms. We combine tradition with modernity, serving the highest quality seafood from all over the world.
